Self-Hosting of Ant-Media Streaming Server
We’ve already demonstrated how to set up a self-hosted, 24/7 live stream server. In this video, we use the same server to broadcast the live stream to multiple platforms.
Before starting the process, you must follow this video tutorial and host an “Ant Media Server”. Then you can follow this tutorial to connect OBS to the server and re-stream your live stream.

Setup OBS Streaming Server (Ant Media)
After that, navigate to one of your applications on the stream server. Next, create a “New Live Stream“. You can use any name for this and click the “Create” button to finish.
After that, click the dropdown menu at the corner of the live stream source and click “Edit RTMP Endpoint“.
Here you can add any platform, such as YouTube and Facebook, to stream your live streaming. I have added Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube for this demonstration.
RTMP Endpoints on Stream Server
The RTMP endpoint should contain the server URL and stream key of the platform. Watch the previous video to get complete knowledge about creating RTMP endpoints.

After all the setup, expand the same dropdown menu. This time, click the “Copy Public URL” and paste it on a notepad or any text editor.
Before the stream, edit the live stream details on Facebook and Twitch. Let me quickly set up all the details.
Add RTMP Stream to OBS
Next, open the Open Broadcast Software and navigate to the stream settings. Then select the “Stream” tab. Choose the service as “Custom“.
There is a stream key at the end of the RTMP URL. So you have to copy and paste the first part as the server link into the server section. Then copy and paste the last part of the RTMP link as the stream key.
Start OBS Multi Stream
Now I will start the live streaming on OBS. You can see the Ant Media server start to receive data from OBS and start the re-streaming. Live streaming has started on YouTube and Twitch at once.
With this method, you can keep a stable connection across different platforms, whether you have a low-bandwidth internet connection or not. It consumes less data and you can stream to unlimited platforms.
