Where is the Tumblr API Key?
Ok, let’s get started with the process. First, you have to create a Tumblr account and set up your Tumblr blog. I am going to finish my blog; there are a few things to customize.
You must go to this Tumblr API page after the setup is complete. Use this link to navigate.
Click “Register application” to begin creating your new app from this page. Complete all required fields, which are marked with the start symbol. Give the app a name and enter the website where you plan to use it.
Add a brief description of the app and what you will do with this Tumblr API key. Then enter a contact email address and callback URL.
I am using this API to post my new WordPress blog post to Tumblr, so I get the callback URL from the plugin that I used.
After completing all the required details, you can register for this app. Here are your API keys: “OAuth consumer key” and “secret key.”
These keys can be copied and pasted into your application or used for anything else.
