You can easily install Firefox on Ubuntu 18.08 and 20.04 using following command. If you have root access, it is better to get it first using this command.
sudo -i
then install Firefox
sudo apt install firefox
Update all the packages including Firefox using this.
sudo apt upgrade
Remove Firefox
sudo apt remove firefox
Install Chrome browser on Ubuntu
Chrome is not an open source browser, and therefore is not available in the Ubuntu repository. Installing the Chrome browser on Ubuntu is a simple procedure. We’ll use the command-line to get the installation file from the official website and install it.
If you able to get root access get it first.
sudo -i
Download the Google Chrome using wget command.
wget https://dl.google.com/linux/direct/google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
Install chrome by execute the package.
